Kelato Animal Health is an Australian owned company dedicated to producing a range of horse health and nutrition products that help horses feel well so they perform well. As passionate horse people ourselves, we are proud of our quality products which are recognized for their ability to maximize your horse’s condition, performance and general wellbeing.

Kelato Animal Health was established in 1988 in Melbourne as ‘Chelated Laboratories Pty Ltd’. In November 2004, Kelato was purchased by Australian company Evolution Animal Health Pty Ltd and in January 2005 relocated to Sydney.

Originally the company’s core business centred on the manufacture of organic or ‘chelated’ trace minerals for use in animal nutrition. Since the relocation to Sydney we have built on the success of this technology and introduced an expanded range of products with proven benefits.

Kelato has developed an international reputation for quality and innovation. We are research driven and have formed alliances with other animal health companies to trial new combinations of compounds that produce real and measurable results.

Kelato is supported by equine nutritionists, specialist equine veterinarians and other technical advisors to ensure that information supporting our products reflects the latest in equine knowledge and practice. Kelato is a member of various industry bodies including the Veterinary Manufacturers and Distributors Association (VMDA), and the peak Australian chamber of commerce, Australian Business Limited. We are also committed to utilising compounds that are sustainable or environmentally compatible.

Quite simply, if a product does not prove to be the most effective of its type available, doesn’t represent good value for money, or can’t be produced to standards in a manner that meets the highest level of integrity we will not market it.
