Kym Leske

About Kym:
Kym Leske has a lifelong passion for horses, deeply rooted in her family’s involvement in the horse industry. Growing up immersed in pony club, she developed her horsemanship skills through education, track work, and her true love—show jumping.

Experience:
Kym began her professional journey in 2009 as an apprentice in a saddlery, where she learned the craft from the ground up. Starting with basic leatherwork, she progressed to crafting specialized leather gear for show bridles, girths, and breastplates, eventually mastering saddlery and saddle fitting. Her hands-on experience has given her a profound appreciation for the transformation of flat pieces of leather into fully functional saddles. Kym has collaborated with various saddles, analysing their designs and understanding the nuances of fit and function.

Her Business:
In 2011, Kym launched her own business, driven by a desire to provide personalized services to clients across South Australia, Mildura, and surrounding areas. She believes that both horse and rider are most comfortable in their own environment, which is why she offers on-site services. Kym makes necessary adjustments to saddles and observes the ridden fit in real-time.

Commitment to Growth:
Kym is dedicated to continual growth as both a person and a saddle fitter, maintaining her independence to offer the best solutions for horse and rider.
